7th Annual Bacon and Bourbon Event

Benefiting Charleston Feed the Need.

This year the event is returning to the Charleston Area Convention Center. We have 27,000 square feet to host 1,500 guests. Tickets go on sale September 2nd.


Bacon and Bourbon has become one of the most anticipated events in Charleston and sells out each year. Why? Because we combine 18 top Charleston Chefs and 30+ distilleries with instructions to break all the rules in creating a night of bacon debauchery and perfect bourbon pairings. The location offers an ideal setting for laser skeet shooting inside and the cigar cabanas on the front patio area. And we will again offer the championship mechanical bull riding competition and confetti prize cannons.

Distilleries, Mixologists

and Breweries

● OHH Events is creating a custom bar for each of you. Anticipate an 8’ serving space.


● There is a $250 bar fee to participate. You can host up to three brands at each bar. We also ask that you donate one bottle to the prize collection. Those are awarded as each confetti cannon goes off every 30 minutes. The bar fee is due January 1st. If we do not receive your bar fee by this date, we will allow another brand to take your place.


● We will provide napkins and cups, ice and water.


● Each bar station must offer one cocktail option in addition to straight pours. You provide those mixers.


● Please bring collateral material for your bar. No banners can be hung above the table height and we would prefer you keep it small. Your product will do the talking. If I see any tall banners, I will ask them to be removed.


● Please provide an up-to-date logo and promotional info immediately for promotional purposes.

● We are anticipating 1,500 guests. They are expecting a tasting size pour and with so many distilleries we need everyone to keep it tight so our guests can sample all night and drink responsibly. We will issue a standard measuring device to keep consumption under control.


● The VIP preview (400 guests) begins at 6:30.


● We will offer a rare bourbon bar and pour Pappy Van Winkle and an interesting collection of rare bourbons. Due to the limited size, I cannot offer VIP tickets to each of you but I will forward two General Admission Tickets for you to share.


● Doors open at 7:30 for our general admission ticket holders so expect a second wave of guests at that time. Feel free to come set up at 3:30 and come back closer to 6:30.


● Chef stations close at 10:30 but we ask that the distilleries remain open until 10:45. End time: 11:00 pm

Doors open for VIP at 6:30 pm and general admission at 7:30 pm. Total attendees 1600.

 

Cocktail/ beer menus due no later than January 1st 2020. Early submissions will be used in media promotions.

● We will provide all glassware, water, ice and napkins. You will provide bourbon and mixers.

● We will provide two 8’ tables for prep, a bar top for serving,

and linens.


● We will provide plates,  latware, and napkins.


● Restaurant Provides small food samples (3-4 Bites) for approximately 1,500 guests.


● Please bring collateral material for your station.

No banners can be hung above the table height and we would prefer you keep it small. Your product will do the talking. If I see any tall banners, I will ask them to be removed.


● Please provide an up-to-date logo, chef headshot and bio immediately for promotional purposes.
